I read another review that knocked these pillows for being a silk/polyester blend, rather than pure silk, and for being too slippery to serve any purpose other than a decorative pillow. As the above mentioned is true, I think that is made clear in the product description. I bought two of these in orange-gold, for the specific purpose of being "throw pillows". The color is exactly what I was hoping for and the quality exceeded my expectations. There are absolutely no flaws, they are an excellent price and the shipping was quick.

I ordered a purple one and did receive a purple one although it is a little darker than what is pictured. It has a really beautiful shine, is nice and plump, and seems well-made enough to last for some time. I am very pleased with both the pillow and the service from both Amazon and Shopping The Globe.
